Tekashi 6ix9ine has returned with his first single and video — “GOOBA” — since being released from prison last month. Last week, the polarizing rapper announced something big was happening on Friday (May 8) and evidently, this is it.

Prior to the video drop, 6ix9ine showed off a huge ad for the single in Times Square on his Instagram Stories. The visual finds 6ix9ine back to his rainbow-colored hairstyle and several scantily-clad dancers wearing a variety of vibrant clothing.

Tekashi 6ix9ine's 'GOOBA' Video Baits His Haters

6ix9ine was granted a “compassionate release” from prison in early April. His legal team argued his asthmatic condition put him at a higher risk for COVID-19 and was adamant he finish the remaining four months of his sentence at home.

Presiding judge Paul A. Engelmayer loosened his restrictions earlier this month, allowing the Brooklynite to film music videos in his backyard for up to two hours a day and record music in his home studio for up to eight hours.

While behind bars, he reportedly secured a record deal worth $10 million. He’s currently working on two albums — one in Spanish and another in English.
