Portugal. The Man are the latest band to feel the Bern. The group announced over the weekend that they will join democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders at a huge rally in Tacoma, Washington, at the Tacoma Dome on on Monday night (Feb. 17). The event will also feature an appearance from actor/activist Tim Robbins and Rep. Pramila Jayapal.

PTM formally endorsed Sanders in January and the Wasilla, Alaska, band have been posting their support for the man trying to unseat Pres. Trump ever since, including appearing at a rally for Sanders in Ames, Iowa just before that state's disastrous caucus. Doors for the Tacoma show open at 4:30 and admission is first come, first served, with the rally slated to kick off at 6 p.m. with the musical acts up first.

The PTM show announce comes in the wake of a recent packed arena rally for Sanders at the University of New Hampshire on the eve of that state's primary that featured a set from The Strokes. Sanders, who just barely came in second place in Iowa to Pete Buttigieg, had Vampire Weekend and Bon Iver play rallies in support of his second presidential campaign in the Hawkeye State.
