Following the release of their acclaimed record Conflict DLC last year, the Los Angeles-based band HEALTH has returned with fresh material. The group has officially shared two new songs, “Negative Edge” and “Brainrot,” as part of the soundtrack for the latest Street Fighter project.
In a statement provided to Bleeding Cool News, the band expressed their deep-rooted connection to the franchise. “As lifelong players of Street Fighter and huge fans of songs written for movies about movies, we wanted to follow in the footsteps of Men In Black, Wild Wild West, The Touch, Demolition Man, and Streets Of Philadelphia,” the group noted.
The new tracks arrive alongside an original score composed by Leo Birenberg and Zach Robinson. Fans can stream the music now to experience the band’s signature industrial sound applied to the iconic fighting game aesthetic.
