Gucci Mane Addresses Robbery & Kidnapping On Pooh Shiesty Diss Track “Crash Dummy”

A Public Fallout

The rap world was recently shaken by reports that Memphis stars Pooh Shiesty and Big30 were among a group of men arrested on robbery and kidnapping charges. The incident, which reportedly took place at a Dallas recording studio, involved an altercation with Gucci Mane. Shiesty, who is signed to Gucci’s 1017 record label, allegedly orchestrated a meeting under the guise of contract negotiations, only to hold one of Gucci’s associates at gunpoint while demanding a contract release.

The situation escalated quickly, with reports indicating that the group also seized cash and jewelry from the victims. In a particularly harrowing detail, one member of Gucci’s party was reportedly choked until he was nearly unconscious during the confrontation.

Gucci Mane Fires Back

Gucci Mane has wasted little time in addressing the betrayal. Today, he released a new diss track titled “Crash Dummy,” produced by his longtime collaborator Zaytoven. The track serves as a direct response to the incident, with Gucci expressing his disillusionment through the recurring refrain: “I done been betrayed, now my heart turned cold.”

The song opens with a sharp, ironic jab at his former signee: “Tell the truth, you went out like a real crash dummy / And after all that, boy, you still signed to me.”

“You know I got my bread up, I always keep my head up / I thought it was a business meeting, but it was a set up / I walk in the room, you can feel the pressure building / N****s dapped me up, the whole time they plotting against me.”

Throughout the track, Gucci provides a detailed account of the events in Dallas, framing the encounter as a calculated setup that he narrowly navigated. The release of “Crash Dummy” marks a significant moment in the ongoing saga, highlighting the volatile nature of industry relationships and the personal toll of such high-stakes conflicts.
