Four Tet has shared details of a surprise show, set to take place in London later tonight (May 24).

The producer and DJ will take to the stage at The Social in the UK capital for a last-minute intimate gig, designed to celebrate a huge milestone for the venue.

News of the show arrived earlier today, as Four Tet – real name Kieran Hebden – shared an update on his Instagram story, confirming details. “London!!! I’m playing The Social, London, tonight. Celebrating 25 years of the venue,” he wrote, also sharing a photo of the entrance.

The set will take place in the basement of the intimate venue on Little Portland St, and he will also be joined by special guests including Chloé Robinson and Robin & Carl. Pete Fowler will also be at the event, and situated on the upstairs floor.

The news of the last-minute DJ set by Hebden comes just month after he announced that his All Dayer Festival is set to return to London’s Finsbury Park in August.

The producer himself will play a five-hour set at the event, which will take place on Saturday, August 10. Also on the bill are Anthony Naples, Champion, DJ ADHD, Mala and others, with more expected to be announced at a later date.

Since then, Four Tet also recently announced his new album ‘Three’, which arrived on March 15 via his own label Text Records. Following the announcement he shared the single ‘Daydream Repeat’.

The album marked the UK producer’s first full-length record in nearly four years – following on from the 2020 albums ‘Sixteen Oceans’, ‘871’ and ‘Parallel’.
