A fan of death metal band Sanguisugabogg has responded after clips of her dancing in a moshpit began circulating social media.

The now-viral moment took place during a concert in Silver Spring, Maryland last week. Videos shared on Twitter/X and TikTok show a woman walking into the centre of a moshpit to pose, before flipping her hair.

Footage then shows fans running into the centre as a wall of death erupts, with the woman seemingly going missing in the crowd. She’s since been criticised on social media for “trying to be sexy”.

Now, the woman in the video has come forward to say she knew “exactly what she was doing”.

TikTok user @halexwilli posted a response to the clips on Sunday (October 27), telling followers: “I am alive, I fully anticipated all of that, I knew exactly what I was doing, it’s not the first time I’ve been in a pit before.”

She went on to say: “I know a lot of people are like ‘oh my god, is she ok? is she ok?’. Yeah, I think the only thing that I really got hurt from that night was the cigarette burns because I can’t smoke a cigarette like a civilised person without burning myself.

“I’m still alive, 10/10, everybody concerned about my well-being I am alive, I’m okay thank you for checking up on me.”

Since clips have gone viral Haley, who is also a Twitch streamer, also revealed she’s received threats of violence. “You’re fucked up, there’s something fucking wrong with you and you need fucking help, dude,” she said in a TikTok responding to comments.

Sanguisugabogg have also since re-shared the moment on their Instagram story.
