Drake has requested that a Toronto local news helicopter stop flying over his residence, while a third intruder has been arrested.

Earlier this week, a man was arrested for attempting to break into the rapper’s Toronto mansion, just a day after a shooting took place outside the residence.

The intruder was reportedly detained on Wednesday (May 8) for allegedly attempting to gain access to Drake’s home.

A second intruder was then taken to hospital on Thursday after clashing with security guards, with injuries that were described as “serious but not life threatening” (via CP24).

On Saturday morning, Drake was moved to post an Instagram Story, requesting that the overhead news helicopter leave him in peace. “@cp24breakingnews can we discuss the chopper flight times over the house cause I won’t lie I’m trying to sleep,” he wrote. “anytime after 3pm works for me”.

In what has proven to be a tumultuous week for Drake and his Toronto home, police and paramedics were called to the site on Monday after a man was hospitalised and left with “serious injuries” after being shot multiple times outside the residence.

“Officers were called after a person attempted to gain access to the property [and] the person was apprehended under the Mental Health Act.”

Since then, it has been widely reported that the person who was injured was Drake’s bodyguard, who was shot in the chest.

The residence rose to prominence recently, with fans renaming it on Google Maps in a prank related to the ongoing feud the Canadian rapper has with Kendrick Lamar.

The two have had beef over recent years, which has come to a head over the past three weeks. Each has been sharing a series of songs with increasingly personal verbal attacks over the other’s musical ability and personal dramas. Last weekend alone, the two dropped five songs in just three days.

There has not been any evidence to indicate that there is any correlation between the ongoing musical battle, the shooting or the attempted break-in.

Universal Music Group recently denied reports that it requested that Kendrick Lamar and Drake end their much-publicised feud.

“Kendrick and Drake’s beef is between them and completely separate from the business side of things,” TMZ reported [via HotNewHipHop]. “And UMG just doesn’t think it’s their place to step in either way.”
