The Greek indie-pop visionary Σtella has officially returned this week with a compelling new single, “Belinda.” Released via Sub Pop, the track marks a sophisticated evolution in her sound, bolstered by the production expertise of the acclaimed Rodaidh McDonald. The collaboration also features contributions from Rafael Cohen of !!!, who previously worked on Σtella’s 2025 album Adagio.
“Belinda, how you changed my life forever,” Σtella sings, her voice carrying a weight that feels both intimate and expansive. “You changed me/ I changed you.” As the composition unfolds, the song’s minimalist piano foundation gradually blossoms into a lush, intricate arrangement. The track evokes the grand, weightless atmosphere of Spiritualized’s “Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space,” successfully balancing technical precision with raw emotional resonance.
Beyond the release of the single, Σtella has announced a series of upcoming tour dates, bringing her unique sound to stages in Athens, Cork, and Mexico City. “Belinda” is available now on all streaming platforms via Sub Pop.
