Judge Lynn Toler couldn’t believe what she was hearing during a recent episode of Divorce Court called “Ungrateful.”

When Toler asked estranged couple Don’te and D’Andrew Leaphar what led to their separation, D’Andrew replied, “The Nicki Minaj and Cardi B beef. I’m serious about that.”

He continued, “We were just saying who started what beef and it escalated,” to which Don’te replied, “It was silly.”

Toler then asked which team Don’te was on — Cardi or Nicki — and Don’te said, “Oh, Cardi all day.” D’Andrew then confirmed he was “team Barbz all day. Nicki Minaj.”

Don’te admitted there were “underlying issues” prior to their Cardi versus Nicki argument.

“He likes to blame it on that — it wasn’t ‘cause of that,” he said. “He’s ungrateful. He’s disrespectful. That was one of the moments where he was disrespectful. You don’t have to get in my face … you gonna be rude your whole life.”

Don’te went to Divorce Court seeking $1,2450 as payment for damages on his rental home with D’Andrew. Toler agreed D’Andrew had to settle the debt.

The perceived tension between Nicki and Cardi blew up during New York Fashion Week  in September 2018. After Cardi allegedly threw a shoe at Nicki, she aired out her beef with the self-proclaimed Queen of Rap on Instagram.

“I’ve let a lot shit slide!” she said. “I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, fuck up the way I eat! You’ve threaten other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you’ll stop fuckin with them!! I let you talk big shit about me!! I addressed you once in person, I addressed you a second time in person, and every time you copped the plea!!

“But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are fuckin off!! I’ve worked to hard and come too far to let anybody fuck with my success!!!!”

They ultimately appeared to call a truce.
