Former U.S. president Donald Trump was in the stands during the Alabama Crimson Tide’s football game against the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday (Sept. 28), and he had some very special guests in his box suite with him — Kid Rock and Hank Williams Jr.
The musicians were wearing cowboy hats and palling around with the former president.
At one point during the game, Trump’s presence was announced to the crowd, and he waved and lifted a fist in acknowledgement of their support. Both Rock and Hank Jr. clapped along to show their enthusiasm.
Trump — who is the Republican nominee for this year’s presidential election — seems to be an Alabama fan, and has attended two of the college team’s games in the past, according to Tuscaloosa News. This time around, he arrived at the stadium to cheers of “U.S.A.! U.S.A.!” and tossed boxes of popcorn into the crowd as he made his way to his suite.
Trump and his two country star pals even walked away from the Alabama-Georgia game with a personal memento of their time together: In one X post, Rock can be seen snapping a selfie with Trump and Hank Jr.
