Download Festival 2024 is just around the corner, with fans already gearing up to head to the site tomorrow (June 13). Check out the latest weather forecast below.
This year’s edition of the rock and metal event is set to take place at Donington Park in Leicestershire over the weekend (June 14-16). Queens Of The Stone Age, Fall Out Boy and Avenged Sevenfold will all headline the main stage.
Other confirmed acts include Royal Blood, The Offspring, Machine Head, Pantera, Corey Taylor, While She Sleeps, Sum 41, Billy Talent, The Used, Babymetal and Bowling For Soup. You can see the full line-up and stage times here.
Now, with just two days until the first acts take to the stage, the final BBC Weather forecast has been shared, showing that thundery showers and a gentle breeze are likely to dominate the whole weekend. Punters can expect temperatures to peak at around 18°C Thursday to Sunday.

In recent news about the 2024 edition, Download organisers issued new traffic advice to avoid a repeat of the “unprecedented” congestion that occurred last year.
Meanwhile, festival boss Andy Copping has revealed that a “big band” will perform a surprise set at this weekend’s event.
“One thing’s for sure, you’ve got to keep your eyes and ears peeled for this year at Download because, yes, we have another band coming in doing a secret set,” he explained.
“Something very, very special. Big band. So look out for that.”
It was also confirmed that Funeral For A Friend would be replacing Bad Omens on the Download ’24 line-up. The latter band announced that they’d pulled out last month due to frontman Noah Sebastian suffering from “extreme burnout”.

In the run up to the festival, some artists have backed out of the event in solidarity with Palestine. This comes as a result of the festival being sponsored by Barclays, which has ties to Israel.
