The latest episode of Vogue’s “73 Questions” features Kiwi indie superstar Lorde strolling around in New York’s Botanical Garden.

The questions asked by the interviewer cover a wide range of topics revolving around the artist’s professional career as well as personal life.

The singer-songwriter explains to us, for instance, what the most surprising thing about fame was to her. She tells us “Right when you can afford to buy anything you want, you get everything for free. It doesn’t make any sense. Don’t give us free stuff.”

She also talks about her experience with synesthesia, the process of creating an album from start to finish, fashion, New Zealand, and so much more.
