The three day event, which is set to take place over the weekend of September 6-8 in Moor Park in Preston, will also feature Sugababes, Travis, Craig David, Paul Heaton and Shed Seven.
Tickets for all three dates will go on sale tomorrow (June 4) at 8.15 BST and can be purchased here. You can also view the full line-up below.
The bash will kick off with a BBC Radio 2 In The Park pre-party on the DJ stage on the Friday with presenters from the station playing sets before the main event will be headlined by Sting on Saturday and the Pet Shop Boys on the Sunday.
“I’ve never been to Preston in my life, so I’m really looking forward to joining the Radio 2 line up as the Saturday headliner, ” said Sting of his headlining slot.
“I want to give a full picture of my entire career. Of course I will sing [The Police hits] ‘Roxanne’, ‘Message In A Bottle’, and ‘Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic’, but there will also be some deep cuts as well.”

Performances will also be available live through on demand services on BBC Sounds and BBC iPlayer across the weekend and for 30 days afterwards here and here.
Last year, Tears For Fears and Kylie Minogue headlined the bash at Victoria Park in Leicester.
Meanwhile, Sting recently kicked off his ‘Sting 3.0’ tour – which sees him performing in a trio set-up across Europe and the United States – in Dresden in Germany. The setlist consisted of an almost even split between his most famous solo material and tracks that he wrote and performed with The Police.
