British pop group Say Now—comprised of Amelia Onuorah, Maddie Haynes, and Yssy Salvanera—has officially returned with their latest single, “Met My Match.” The track, which marks a significant step forward for the trio, features executive production from the acclaimed PinkPantheress. The group, who have been crafting their signature brand of crystalline pop since 2023, also collaborated with Maestro The Baker, Oscar Scheller, and Count Baldor to bring the song to life.
“Met My Match” is an infectious, flirty anthem defined by its mercurial Y2K-pop vocal delivery, driving synths, and upbeat, rhythmic claps. It captures the specific, high-energy feeling of preparing for a night out, evoking the aesthetic of ignoring a buzzing, bedazzled flip phone while perfecting one’s makeup. The single serves as a vibrant preview of the group’s highly anticipated debut EP, which is currently slated for a November release.
