It has been roughly four months since Kevin Basko last graced us with new music, and the prolific Philadelphia-based artist is already back with fresh material. Known for his work under the moniker Rubber Band Gun, Basko has maintained a relentless creative pace. It was only this past January that he released his collaborative album ROAM BABY ROAM alongside Joe Joesph, and he has also been busy behind the boards, recently producing Highway To Hell, the latest full-length effort from Emily Moales, better known as Star Moles.
Given their history as frequent collaborators, it comes as no surprise that Basko and Moales have reunited for a new single titled “Frodoboy.” The track serves as a testament to their creative chemistry, offering a slice of off-kilter folk that feels both intimate and expansive.
