Three-time Grammy Award Winning, producer, actor, singer, and songwriter extraordinaire, Mr. R&B, Classic Man NE-YO brings it back to the roots of things with his latest “Don’t Love Me”.

The Motown Records artist pens an open love letter to his wife in “Don’t Love Me”  as we anxiously await his highly anticipated eighth album.

“Don’t Love Me” showcases, Ne-Yo’s vocals as they take center stage fluttering between intimate verses and choruses tinged with his signature falsetto entwined, while an acoustic guitar weaves alongside cavorting classic rhythm.

The track is hot and the message is even hotter. When one person in the relationship knows they are doing wrong and has the courage to speak up instead of continuing to sneak behind their partner’s back.

Ne-Yo’s fan base around the globe is excited for “Don’t Love Me” as evidenced on YouTube saying  “R&B runs in this guy’s veins.” “This is authentic, passionate, classy, music that stands the test of time!” “My forever favorite R&B artist.”

The video is cinematically pleasing with the main characters, both extremely attractive, accurately portraying a couple in trouble reflects the title spot-on.  Amidst Ne-Yo’s sexy, smooth, soulful voice narrating in the background, we find the couple grappling with the dynamics and loss of attraction they once had for one another, realizing they aren’t hooked on one another anymore, finding them on the cusp of ending the relationship. Breaking up is so very hard to do.

“Don’t Love Me” might resonate with couples going through similar situations in their relationships. This song might just become an anthem, especially since the cuffing season is over. What do you think??

NE-YO definitely did his thing with his pen game on fire with the “Don’t Love Me” single and the video. Go download “Don’t Love Me,” even if you’re not experiencing this in your relationship, you won’t be disappointed.
