The track tops Adult Alternative Songs.

With his first solo single since gaining prominence as leader of Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Nathaniel Rateliff earns his first solo No. 1 on a Billboard chart, as "And It's Still Alright" rises 3-1 on the Adult Alternative Songs airplay survey dated Feb. 22.

The track is a particularly swift riser, reaching the top of Adult Alternative Songs in just its fifth week on the tally. That's the quickest trip to No. 1 in nearly a year, since Vampire Weekend's "Harmony Hall" needed just four weeks to reach the summit on the March 2, 2019-dated chart.

Rateliff is no stranger to fast jumps to No. 1 on Adult Alternative Songs. "You Worry Me," the lead single from his most recent LP with the Night Sweats, took just four weeks to reign in early 2018.

Rateliff now boasts four total Adult Alternative Songs No. 1s, the previous three earned with his band. "S.O.B." dominated for four weeks beginning in October 2015, followed by a nine-week rule for "You Worry Me" and a one-week command for "Hey Mama" in February 2019.

Multiple artists over the years have scored No. 1s solo and with a band on Adult Alternative Songs, with the most recent example before Rateliff, Brittany Howard, leading in October with her solo tune "Stay High" after Alabama Shakes' "Hold On" hit No. 1 in 2012.

On the all-rock-format Rock Airplay chart, "And It's Still Alright" ascends 47-44, up 8% to 1.3 million audience impressions, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. The track also debuts at No. 46 on the multi-metric Hot Rock Songs chart.

And It's Still Alright, Rateliff's first solo album since 2013, was released on Valentine's Day and follows a pair of Night Sweats albums, both of which debuted at No. 4 on Top Rock Albums and in the top 20 of the Billboard 200: Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats (September 2015) and Tearing at the Seams (March 2018).
