Moneybagg Yo knows the value of his worth, but when it comes to the company he keeps in his highly anticipated “123” music video featuring Blac Youngsta, the question remains: “Why would I switch out a dime for a penny?”

Youngsta’s repeated line in the post-chorus harkens back to an Instagram picture the two rappers took with the video’s enlarged dime and penny props symbolizing two types of women, and Moneybagg broke down their respective values in the caption: “A #Dime Can Be Bad Asf But Keep U Wit a Headache Come Wit So Many Problems And Wants U To Keep Her Polished Up… A #Penny Can Be Basic, But She Loyal, Treat U Like A King, Do Everything U Ask and More. Question: Which One Do You Want!?” he stated back in February.

But in the song’s accompanying visual released Tuesday (April 14), he trades the other way. From kids not exchanging handfuls of pennies for a small pile of dimes to the rappers and their entourage rating women at a runway show by their aforementioned dime and penny props, the value of a dime is far more superior.

Despite Moneybagg Yo’s girlfriend Ari Fletcher teasing him by commenting on the social media money shot, “Go back to your pennies,” Youngsta clears the air with his concluding lines in the chorus: “I ain’t never leavin’ my b—h, she a dime (Dime)/ Why would I switch out a dime for a penny?”
