Joe Glass Shares New Acoustic Track “It’s No Wonder”

Fans of the Sharp Pins project will likely recognize the work of Kai Slater, who self-released the breakthrough album Radio DDR on Bandcamp in 2024 before the K Records imprint Perennial re-released the record in an expanded form last year. Those familiar with that circle are also likely acquainted with Joe Glass, who plays in the band alongside Slater and released his own solo album, Snakewards, via Hallogallo this past January. Now, Perennial is giving Glass the same deluxe treatment.

In November, the label will release an expanded edition of Snakewards. As a preview of the project, Glass has shared one of the three new tracks today. Titled “It’s No Wonder,” the song showcases Glass shifting his signature power-pop sensibilities into a stripped-down acoustic mode. Watch the official video below.

The expanded version of Snakewards is scheduled for release on November 13 via K/Perennial. In addition to the new music, Glass is set to open for a series of solo shows for Stephen Malkmus in California next week.
