Ringo Starr turned 80 years old today (July 7), and the Beatle is celebrating with a jam-packed birthday celebration.
The musician, who typically throws his birthday bash outside of Capitol Records in Hollywood, is taking the party online this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the lineup is still Starr-studded.
Fellow Beatles member Paul McCartney, Ringo Star & His All Starr Band guitarist Joe Walsh, Gary Clark Jr., Sheryl Crow, Sheila E. and Ben Harper will host at-home performances and feature never-before-seen concert footage.
Proceeds raised during “Ringo’s Big Birthday Show” will benefit Black Lives Matter Global Network, the David Lynch Foundation, MusiCares and WaterAid.
Catch “Ringo’s Big Birthday Show” on his YouTube channel tonight at 8 p.m. ET.
