She also becomes the first woman on the RCA record label to rule since 2014.

Doja Cat earns her first No. 1 on any Billboard radio chart as “Say So” advances from the runner-up spot on Rhythmic Songs. The single ascends through a 9% gain in plays in the week ending April 12, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

The bubbly new No. 1 overtakes Doja Cat’s previous best, “Juicy,” featuring Tyga, which rose to No. 2 earlier this year.

With the coronation, “Say” marks the first Rhythmic Songs No. 1 for the Kemosabe imprint. The division, founded by producer Dr. Luke, previously posted a shared No. 2 high point with “Juicy” and Kesha’s 2010 smash, “Tik Tok.” In addition, “Say” secures the first leader by a female artist on the RCA record label since Tinashe’s “2 On,” featuring ScHoolboy Q, ruled for three weeks in August 2014.

In addition to Rhythmic radio, “Say” maintains its strong standing with pop audiences. The tune advances 8-6 in its 10th week on the Pop Songs airplay chart, improving 14% in weekly plays. Adult audiences, too, are embracing the tune as it climbs 27-22 (up 42% in plays) on the Adult Pop Songs ranking.

Radio gains across the three formats push “Say” into the top 10 on the all-genre Radio Songs chart. There, it banks an 11-8 jump thanks to an 11% surge to 69.2 million in audience impressions.

“Say” appears on Doja Cat’s Hot Pink album, which debuted at No. 47 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums in November, but reached a No. 10 high in March thanks to the strength of “Juicy” and “Say.” On the current chart, the album rebounds 12-10 for a third frame at its peak position in its 21st week on the list.
