What would a Young Thug and Chris Brown project sound like? According to CB, the end product would probably be along the genre lines of “Slime and B,” as that’s seemingly the title for the duo’s upcoming mixtape.

On Tuesday morning (April 28), Brown announced the news Instagram with an uploaded picture that read Slime and B. “5th day of the 5th month @thuggerthugger1,” the singer hinted on his caption. May 5 is also Chris Brown’s 31st birthday.

Brown and Thugger previously paired up on songs such as Brown’s 2017 “High End” and the remix to his 2015 track “Wrist.” The pending release would be the first for both sides in 2020.

Last year, both Thugger and Brown made immediate impacts during the summertime with their solo efforts. Thug’s So Much Fun album zoomed to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 while Brown skated into top-five territory on the Hot 100 with “No Guidance.”

Billboard reached out to Brown and Thugger’s reps for comment.
