Lockdown or no, when you just have to scratch that musical itch, only the finest metal will do. Which explains why goth folkie Chelsea Wolfe (and collaborator Ben Chisholm) teamed up with former Dillinger Escape Plan bassist Liam Wilson, as well as Rough Francis drummer Jordan Olds and Cave In guitar Stephen Brodsky to perform a ripping lockdown cover of Ozzy Osbourne’s iconic 1980 solo hit “Crazy Train.”

The extra-doomy version of the song was recorded as part of the late-night metal parody talk show Two Minutes to Late Night, and it features some guitar from the show’s host, Gwarsenio Hall (aka comedian Jordan Olds), who, like everyone else, dialed in remotely for the clip that has a spooky Halloween-like throwback vibe.

It’s the third quarantine cover Two Minutes has posted so far and the video’s caption notes that it was created thanks to support from Patreon, withe some of the money raised going to help support everyone who is taking part in the recordings while they are idle due to the coronavirus.
