Blackberry Crush Share New Single “Patterns”

Spacey-gauzy alt-rock band Blackberry Crush started off as a duo in Wyoming before moving to Denver and expanding into a four-piece. They make woozy, riffy music that’s at least shoegaze-adjacent. But they’re more direct than most shoegaze bands, and their sighing harmony vocals set them apart.

Today, Blackberry Crush release “Patterns,” a pretty new zone-out that works as a kind of multi-part suite. The song has parts that remind me of Sunny Day Real Estate, and I mean that as a compliment. On the recording, Blackberry Crush worked with Gleemer frontman Corey Coffman. Check it out below.
