Lala Lala Returns With Surprise Piano Album ‘Wall Tongue’

Lillie West, the creative force behind the indie project Lala Lala, has returned with a surprise release. Following the earlier 2026 arrival of her record Heaven 2, West has unveiled a new piano album titled Wall Tongue. This latest project continues the artist’s penchant for exploring different musical avenues, building on her 2024 instrumental release, if i were a real man i would be able to break the neck of a suffering bird.

The origins of Wall Tongue trace back to a creative residency West undertook during the summer of 2024. Reflecting on the process, she shared on Instagram that the album was composed at the Mudhouse Residency in Agios Ioannis, Greece. Describing the experience as “very idyllic,” West noted that the project captures a specific, peaceful moment in her creative journey.

In addition to the digital release, West is offering a limited physical run of the album, with only 70 cassettes available for fans. The surprise drop serves as another testament to the nomadic artist’s prolific and unpredictable output.
