For July 4, she returned with a surprise new song called “Morning Dew (Donk).” It kicks off a 60-day countdown to her birthday in September, which will mark 20 years since the release of her second album B’Day. The iconic record will receive a special reissue with this track included.
“Morning Dew (Donk)” is an R&B daydream written by Pharrell Williams, The-Dream, and Darius Dixon, and produced by Beyoncé and Pharrell Williams. It serves as her first new music since 2024’s colossal Cowboy Carter, and it arrives alongside a lyric video featuring repurposed archival footage directed by Cliff Watts.
