Wrestler CM Punk has never been one to shy away from controversy, and his recent comments about The Beatles are no exception. During a WWE segment where superstars were asked about universally loved things they personally dislike, Punk didn’t hold back.
When WWE host Jackie Redmond posed the question, Punk promptly responded, “I don’t like The Beatles.” This admission visibly shocked Redmond and fellow WWE personality Alicia Taylor, leading to a lively exchange.
Taylor chimed in, “I was shocked that I found someone else who doesn’t like The Beatles.” Redmond, still taken aback, exclaimed, “There are two of you at the same table!”
Punk elaborated on his stance, labeling the iconic band as “overrated” and describing them as a “phony boy band that was manufactured and went through sh*tty phases.” He mocked their stylistic changes over the years, saying, “Oh, we’re hippies now. We’re psychedelic now.”

Taylor agreed, suggesting that many people claim to love The Beatles because they feel obligated to do so. She added, “Also, I do not drink or smoke or do drugs. So, I’m on the same train [being straight edge like CM Punk].”
Punk concluded the conversation with a cheeky jab concluding “So fuck you, Sgt. Pepper!” while giving the two-finger salute.
Coincidently, Punk recently had very nice things to say about other artists, namely Chappell Roan.
