Wargasm have announced plans to release a new single with Corey Taylor later this week.
The duo shared the artwork for the track ‘70% Dead’, which you can view below, and confirmed their collaboration with the Slipknot frontman would drop this Friday (July 12). You can pre-save it here.
It comes after they recently teased the collaboration to NME following their slot at Download 2024. They previously teamed up with Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst on their 2023 single ‘Bang Ya Head’.
“We’ve featured on a lot of other artists’ tunes this year, and it made us realise that we really want another artist to be the one featuring on our tunes,” said Sam Matlock. “So far we’ve only had that once, but it was Fred Durst to be fair. So come back next month and you see – our first dream collaboration was with Fred, and the second is on the way.”
The duo previously toured with Taylor along with Royal Blood and Babymetal.
Speaking about their previous collaboration, Milkie Way said: “It was amazing working with Limp Bizkit. Their team is one of the best we’ve ever toured with, and all the guys are friendly, outstanding, and charming, so it was just as good as everyone thought it would be. And Fred always said ‘if you need anything or if you need to know anything, come to me’, which was great. He also gave us some advice about labels that was very apt.”

Matlock joked: “I mean it is motherfucking Limp Bizkit! And now we’re inseparable… and by that I mean they can’t get away from us. You’d be surprised though at the connections that form between musicians, because we all go through similar things in life.”
Meanwhile Taylor released his second solo record, ‘CMF2’ last year. In a three-star review, NME said that “there’s enough good stuff on here to justify the album’s existence”.
It added: “And if nothing else, it’s a fascinating insight into the dichotomy that drives one of the greatest bands of the 21st Century.”
In other news, Slipknot recently announced their first song with new drummer Eloy Casagrande, ‘Long May You Die’.
The masked band will embark on their ‘Here Comes The Pain’ 25th anniversary tour in North America this summer, with Knocked Loose and more appearing as special guests at the shows. Find any remaining tickets here.
