Atlanta transplant TTO K.T. continues his rise on the hip-hop circuit. The emerging artist sets the tone for 2018 beginning Monday (March 19) with his new album Vibes, premiering Billboard belowThe soothing 11-track LP enlists Trippie Redd on “Yeah 3x,” who K.T. met back in 2015 linking up with “Love Scars” producer Elliot Trent behind the boards to find that same magic in the studio.

K.T. detailed his friendship with Trippie Redd, telling Billboard, “I knew Trippie was special ever since we first met in 2015. Recently, he and I were in the studio together, and we recorded like five joints. One them was 'Yeah 3x,' which the homie Elliot Trent produced and we made a certified smash. We tested it out on Shade 45 with DJ Whoo Kid and Hot 97 with Hip Hop Mike, and the reaction was crazy, so we knew we had something,” he explained. “We’re working on getting the video done next, once Trippie gets f G-Eazy's] Beautiful & Damned Tour.”

The Birmingham, Alabama, native was able to continue his message positivity even after the tragic loss his father. “Vibes embodies the current space I'm in, which is all about delivering positivity wherever I'm at because you never know what people you encounter are going through,” he said. “When my father was murdered, that was the lowest point my life, so I know how the littlest things you do for people can go super far in others lives.”

Vibes enlists CarlDontkillem and Yakki in addition to Trippie as vocal features and taps a plethora producers, including Elliot Trent, Cakeboy Bally, Javar Rockamore, WAKEUPKIERE and more on the project.
