New York, NY – Tekashi 6ix9ine has just over three months left on his 24-month prison but according to TMZ, he wants out now. The imprisoned rapper is reportedly concerned he will catch COVID-19 while behind bars and is attempting to get out early.

6ix9ine’s attorney Lance Lazzaro penned a letter to Judge Paul A. Engelmayer on Sunday night (March 22), explaining his client has asthma and is much more susceptible to the virus.

Lazzaro also added the 23-year-old Brooklynite was diagnosed with bronchitis and sinusitis last year and hospitalized for treatment. Therefore, he’s asking Engelmayer to make an exception and allow him to escape the potential danger.

No matter when 6ix9ine is released from prison, he’ll have to face multiple lawsuits when he gets out, three of which surfaced last week.

The fast fashion company Fashion Nova is reportedly suing him for $2.25 million for failing to fulfill his contractual obligations, a woman who claims she was shot in the foot during one of his video shoots wants another $150 million and 6ix9ine’s former friend, Shane Hardy, is seeking damages for allegedly ordering a hit on him.

It’s unclear what 6ix9ine’s next move will be upon his release, but he reportedly would rather take his chances on the outside than risk catching the coronavirus. 6ix9ine is expected to be released from prison on August 2.
