Tekashi 6ix9ine made his rap return with “GOOBA” last month. The visual for the single — his first since his November 2018 arrest — broke a YouTube record for the most views in a 24-hour period, a record previously held by Eminem’s Machine Gun Kelly diss “Killshot.”

Over the weekend, people started to notice the visual was missing and in its place was a message that read, “The video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Magix Enga.”

The Kenyan producer accused 6ix9ine of biting a beat for “GOOBA” in an Instagram post on Sunday (May 31). He wrote in the caption, “Don’t sample my Beats Biggest song Delete By Magix Enga.”

However, the “GOOBA” video was reinstated only a few hours after it was removed and 6ix9ine was quick to rub it in people’s faces.

“LMAOOOOOOOO I know ya dead mad right now,” he wrote. He added in Akademiks’ comment section, “Haters right now acting like they don’t see this post.”

Not long after, Magix issued a video statement to his Instagram account, saying, “69, or whatever, your song ‘GOOBA’ is now on YouTube. Let me just forgive you, bro. But at least respect Magix’s anger, Kenyan beat king. Bless.”

Many of 6ix9ine fans called foul on Magix’s claim, primarily because he never revealed what beat the controversial Brooklyn-bred rapper supposedly stole. Additionally, Magix’s allegations coincided with the premiere of his new video for “Don’t Sample,” leading several people on social media to label Magix “the biggest clout chaser of 2020.”
