Snoop Dogg will be appearing on the latest installment of Red Table Talk to address the controversy regarding his comments on Gayle King's choice of questioning when interviewing WNBA star Lisa Leslie about Kobe Bryant's 2003 rape case. The episode is set to air in full on Wednesday (Feb. 26) on Facebook starting at noon ET.
In the episode's teaser released Sunday (Feb. 25), Jada Pinkett-Smith is seen explaining to Snoop that she felt attacked by the Long Beach native's rant and wanted to continue the conversation "in the spirit of healing."
"I felt not only were you talking to Gayle, but you were talking to me," she said. "I was like, 'Oh no, Snoop has now taken his power flow away from me.' I was like, 'Not Snoop!'"
The preview cuts out before a stern Snoop has a chance to respond to Jada flanked by her mother and daughter Willow. He also publicly apologized to Gayle King for lashing out following his original comments. Snoop admitted that he "overreacted" and should have "handled" himself in a different way.
Look for the Red Table Talk series to make a more concrete weekly return this spring.
