Primal Scream have shared details of a new UK and Ireland tour set to kick off next year. Find ticket details below.
The tour dates are in celebration of the band’s new album, ‘Come Ahead’. 14 shows have been confirmed, all taking place between March and April 2025. The dates kick off with an opening slot at the Beacon venue in Bristol on March 31, before continuing throughout the following month.
A stop at the O2 Guildhall in Southampton is planned for April 1, followed by a gig in Edinburgh and two stops in Glasgow on April 3, 5 and 5 respectively. From there, shows are planned for Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, London and more.
Dates wrap up with a penultimate stop at the O2 Academy in Leeds on April 18, before a final show at Newcastle’s City Hall the following night.

The upcoming 2025 ‘Come Ahead’ tour arrives in light of Primal Scream’s 2023 headline summer shows.
Support for the forthcoming gigs will come from Baxter Dury at shows in Bristol, Southampton, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester and Nottingham, and from Fat White Family in London. More guests will be announced shortly.
As well as announcing the new shows, Bobby Gillespie and co. have also shared details of a new remix of ‘Love Insurrection’.
The original track was shared earlier this year as the lead single to the upcoming 12th studio album. Now, it has been reimagined by UK deep house pioneers Black Science Orchestra.
A press release states how the new version comes “pulsing with deep bass amongst the track’s funk-driven guitars, soaring flutes and strings while Bobby Gillespie’s impassioned vocals deliver a powerful message of unity and hope”.
Already the remix has been previewed at a series of club nights throughout recent months.
Last month, Primal Scream released two more songs from the upcoming LP: ‘Ready To Go Home’ and ‘The Centre Cannot Hold’.
The new project will mark the band’s 12th studio album and first full-length LP since 2016’s ‘Chaosmosis’. It’ll contain 11 new tracks, and is set to see songwriter, vocalist and frontman Bobby Gillespie deliver some of the most personal and emotionally-open work of his career.
The writing process began back in 2022, and came during a time when Gillespie was unsure if he would make another Primal Scream album again.
“I’m very excited about this album in a way that you would be making your first record. If there was an overall theme to ‘Come Ahead’ it might be one of conflict, whether inner or outer,” said Gillespie of the new LP.
“There is also a thread of compassion running through the album. The title is a Glaswegian term. If someone threatens to fight you, you say, ‘Come ahead!’ It’s redolent of the indomitable spirit of the Glaswegian, and the album itself shares that aggressive attitude and confidence. They have a word for this up there, gallus. ‘Come Ahead’ is quite a cheeky title too.”
