For the past two years, Royce da 5'9″ and DJ Premier have been talking about and teasing the release PRhyme 2, the sequel to their late 2014 debut as a duo.

Finally, at long last, we have a date: March 16, 2018.

The album, which will feature production by Premier and the sample work composer and producer AntMan Wonder, is currently available for pre-order on Fat Beats. According to the veteran hip-hop distributor, the full tracklist, artwork and guest features will be announced the first week February.

Considering their debut was the most hip-hop album 2014, expectations are quite high for the pair's highly-anticipated follow-up—and deservedly so. We're talking about one the greatest hip-hop producers all-time, with an unimpeachable track record behind the boards, and a rapper that is so feared by his peers, JAY-Z had Eminem remove Royce's verse from “Renegade” because he likely didn't want to be embarrassed by two MCs.

DJBooth has reached out to PRhyme's publicist for comment.
