We have the distinct pleasure to announce that London-based Italian famed composer Michele Garruti is premiering his latest album, Glitch, on Groovy Tracks today. Home to an incredibly well structured collection of fifteen tracks, Glitch is the kind of album that will transcend time, so much it contains substance, soul, and ethereal musicality. Michele Garruti’s unique style is characterized by crossover atmospheres, his signature sound lying at the intersection of classical, electronic, “noisy,” ethereal, and glitchy elements floating through a range from neoclassical to minimalism, crossover and electronic. Although this might sound complicated, the listening experience clarifies all these terms, bringing a serene and magical vibe throughout the fifteen compositions he has brought to life with an undeniable vision and inspiration.

Widely known as a pianist and keyboard player, Garruti has also founded his own record company, Oracle Records, based in London as well, co-producing the album We All Love Burt Bacharach with Giampaolo Pasquile, and working with some of the world’s most prominent jazz musicians such as Peter Erskine, Bob Mintzer, Darek Oleszkiewicz, Michael Stever, and the artist Kathleen Grace. Literature, cinema, and photography are some of the realms that influence and inspire his work, and Glitch’s soulful and cinematic feel builds a post-contemporary collection that will resonate with music lovers worldwide.
