If you live in New York then you’re probably used to the sound of cheering, clapping and pots and pans banging together around 7 p.m. every night in a tribute to the heroic job first responders are doing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Last Thursday, DeRosa plugged in for the inspiring rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” which drew a loud response from the crowd on the street.
