Los Angeles, CA – Flavor Flav’s former manager and mother of his infant son, Kate Gammell, is selling Flavor Flav merch in an effort to provide some financial relief. The longtime Public Enemy member has yet to acknowledge kinship to the child and apparently isn’t paying child support — despite a paternity test stating otherwise.

The collection boasts several colorful Flavor Flav t-shirts, hoodies and hats. For every item sold, Gammell is donating a portion of the proceeds to Los Angeles County Children’s Hospital to aid in the coronavirus crisis.

“When I told him I was pregnant with his child, Flavor let me go and I was left with thousands of dollars of Flavor Flav merch that I had purchased with my own money,” Gammell explains to GroovyTracks. “Jordan is not getting any child support from Flavor and I needed money for Jordan’s everyday needs. So, I decided to pull out the merch and sell it to help my son and give a percentage to Children’s Hospital.

“I doubt I will recoup the money that I put into this, but I don’t care, as any money towards Jordan’s needs is important. The support for Jordan has been fantastic so far.”

Gammell worked as Flav’s manager for a few years and juggled several aspects of his career, including the merch store. The two initially met when Gammell was an assistant for Public Enemy frontman Chuck D.

Paternity Test Confirms Flavor Flav IS The Father Of 3-Month-Old Boy

Last October, Gammell filed a paternity suit against Flav and asked the court to establish paternity so The Flavor Of Love star would have to pay child support. The test results arrived on October 21, 2019 courtesy of LabCorp with a 99.9 percent confirmation.

“Flavor is entitled to a percent of this, but it will go towards reducing the $50,000 dollar debt that he also owes to me,” Gammell added. “I will be using that money all for Jordan. Again, I appreciate the support that everyone has shown towards Jordan and Children’s Hospital.”
