Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj join the elite league of artists who’ve topped the Billboard Hot 100, qualifying those behind half of the top 10 songs as Hot 100 penthouse residents. So who should take over next?

With Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé snagging a sweet spot at No. 2 with the “Savage” remix, the upper echelon of the Hot 100 remains reserved specifically for songs crediting two women, remixes of songs that were already in the top 10, and songs by black female artists. But “Savage” could keep rising to the top for Megan’s first No. 1 hit.

Dua Lipa‘s “Don’t Start Now” isn’t stopping anytime soon from trying to snag the key card and unlock the pop star’s first chart-topper on the all-genre tally. But the all-star power behind DaBaby and Roddy Ricch‘s “Rockstar” could give DaBaby the luxe treatment for his first time with Ricch’s connections (“The Box” held it down at the top for 11 weeks straight).

Playboi Carti could also have his first stay at No. 1 if “Pain 1993” by Drake from his latest project Dark Lane Demo Tapes gets an upgrade from No. 7, where it debuted this week (chart dated May 16).

So which artist(s) should hit No. 1 on the Hot 100 next? Vote below!
