On the same day Matt Mays kicks off a run of tour dates throughout Canada and the U.S., the Canadian rocker has announced plans to bring his first four albums to vinyl for the first time ever.
Mays’ 2002 self-titled debut and 2005’s Matt Mays & El Torpedo will both arrive in stores June 15, while 2006’s …When the Angels Make Contact and 2008’s Terminal Romance will hit on shelves June 29.
Some bonus treats for listeners are also set to be included with the vinyl releases. Matt Mays will include an added 7-inch featuring the original recording of “City of Lakes,” while Matt Mays & El Torpedo will come as 2-LP set and add the bonus track “Wasn’t Meant to Be.”
…When the Angels Make Contact will also be pressed as a 2-LP set, as well as include a full-size poster. Terminal Romance will include a bonus 7-inch, pressed with the unreleased rocker “Get Lucky,” which will also arrive digitally on June 15.
All will see release through Sonic Records and will additionally be sold at Mays’ shows in the coming months. Besides his own live dates, Mays will support the Gaslight Anthem on dates in Washington, Chicago and Toronto. You can find a complete itinerary below.
