The legacy of Mac Miller continues to live on, as his 2010 seminal mixtape K.I.D.S. arrived on streaming services early Wednesday morning (April 29).

Last year, Rostrum Records founder Benji Grinberg revealed on Instagram that Miller’s breakout project would arrive on streaming services in the future.

“On this 9th anniversary of the first tape that Mac and Rostrum put out together, I’m excited to announce that “K.I.D.S.” will be available on all streaming services later this year!” Grinberg wrote on Instagram on K.I.D.S.’ ninth anniversary. “After Macadelic came out, Mac asked if we could clear this one next. It has been challenging but we are getting through it. We miss Mac every day and we see our job as making sure his music lives on. We love you, Mac.”

K.I.D.S. was jam-packed with classic Miller vibes such as “Kool-Aid & Frozen Pizza” and “Nikes on My Feet.” The Pittsburgh star’s love for hip-hop samples captivated listeners and helped him become a rising star in the 2010s.

Earlier this year, Miller’s family posthumously released his album Circles. The project served as a follow-up to his 2018 Grammy-nominated effort Swimming.
