Lady Gaga has shared her reaction to Billie Eilish saying she’s been listening to her old music lately.
Eilish revealed that Gaga was her current favourite artist in 2024 during her annual interview with Vanity Fair – a series that sees her answer the same questions year after year.
“I’ve been listening to a lot of Lady Gaga, like old Lady Gaga,” she said, responding to the prompt “who’s your favourite artist?”. “It’s so good. ‘Alejandro’, ‘Poker Face’, ‘G.U.Y.’ and ‘Born This Way’.”
Previous years have seen Eilish shoutout Brockhampton, Arlo Parks and even herself as among her most-played. Gaga has now taken to TikTok to respond, lipsynching to the audio of Eilish listing off the classic pop hits.
“She had me at G.U.Y.,” Gaga captioned the TikTok. Check it out below.

Back in 2020, Gaga revealed that she offered to mentor Eilish after discovering that she never secured herself a steady female confidant in the music industry. The singer said she sent a then 18-year-old Eilish flowers with a note after she bagged five Grammy awards that year.
