With his forthcoming album ADHD looming, Joyner Lucas unwrapped another video on Tuesday (Mar. 11) in the form of “Lotto.”
The music video savant didn’t shy away from flexing his creative muscles for his newest visual. The celebratory ode finds Lucas and company breaking everything in sight.
From trashing grocery stores to apartments, Lucas’ squad is on a fiery rampage, playing demolition derby everywhere they go.
“Why do I feel like Manson? / Smoke y’all n—-s, I feel like I just got cancer / Murderin’ streets, my anthem /All of y’all clowns is banter,” raps Lucas over the bouncy Mally Mall-produced beat.
“Lotto” follows the release of Lucas’ last record, “Revenge,” which will also live on his ADHD album. If all goes to plan, ADHD will be out Mar. 27 and will serve as his first independent album since departing from Atlantic Records in 2018 — though Lucas’ fears of the Coronavirus might change up the initial game-plan.
“Due to coronavirus I have decided to push my album back another 8 years,” Lucas wrote on Twitter. “I just want to ensure everybody’s safety. I’m sorry to everyone who’s been waiting. March 27th 2028 is the new date.. Be safe everyone.”
