Jay Electronica took to Twitter early Friday (Feb. 7) to announce that his much-delayed forthcoming project, Written Testimony, is dropping in 40 days.
"My debut album featuring Hov man this is highway robbery," he wrote. "Recorded over 40 days and 40 nights, starting from Dec 26." With a glimmer of hope thanks to Jay locking himself in the studio, all eyes will now be on March 18.
Young Guru and Just Blaze chimed in to only add to the building hype. "Facts!!!!!! This is not a drill," Guru teased. Written Testimony replaces the now-scrapped Act II, which the New Orleans native first started teasing back in 2007 and then signed with Roc Nation in 2010.
