2019 and 2020 have been the years of reunions. From the Jonas Brothers to My Chemical Romance and Rage Against the Machine, all our favorite groups are setting past differences aside for the sake of good music.

It may be time for Oasis fans to get hyped. Liam Gallagher took to Twitter on Wednesday (Jan. 8) to share a range of thoughts in 280 characters, including that he will "retire as a solo artist after album no3."

And why is that? Because he "just had a call from my brother [Noel] begging me to start oasis again in 2020 if you believe in life after love c'mon you know."

Don't get your hopes up, though. It could all be a joke, as just prior to that tweet, he shared another claiming that after his third album, he is "gonna split up with myself I just don’t think I’ll be able to work with myself any longer I can write what I like and so can he but I think it’s for the best."

Noel has yet to confirm his "begging" for an Oasis reunion.
