The band also released the new single “Oh Yeah!” on Thursday (Jan. 16).

Green Day are hitting the ice. The rock trio is continuing its multiyear partnership with the National Hockey League with an upcoming headlining performance at the 2020 Honda NHL All-Star Game on Jan. 25 in St. Louis.

The group will perform outside the Enterprise Center just before they run inside to perform during the second intermission, presented by Ticketmaster.

The performance will be televised as part of the All-Star game broadcast on NBC in the U.S and the CBC, Sportsnet and TVA Sports in Canada at 8:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. CT. The free, outdoor performance will be open to the public and begin at 5 p.m. CT on 14th and Market Streets. 

“Our partnership with Green Day goes to a whole new level with this performance,” said Steve Mayer, NHL chief content officer and executive vice president in a statement about the two-year pact between the band and the league that will find songs from the upcoming Father of All… album featured in game highlights, tune-in campaigns and across broadcast, digital and social platforms from the NHL and its TV partners.

“This one will be unlike anything we have ever done at the League as we are featuring the band as they perform both inside and outside Enterprise Center. Throw in a few fireworks over the St. Louis Arch and we hope to put together a memorable production for hockey fans and fans of Green Day.”

As if that wasn't enough, Green Day unleashed the next single from Father of All… (Feb. 7) on Thursday (Jan. 16) as well, the foot-stomping "Oh Yeah!" The meme-filled video for the song that samples Joan Jett's "Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah)" and features a series of wanna-be viral stars trying to get them likes.

Green Day will launch their global stadium tour with Fall Out Boy and Weezer, the Hella Mega Tour, on June 13 in Paris.
