Frank Ocean has long been a fan of Prada. The luxury fashion house returned the favor on Thursday (Jan. 9) by having Ocean star as the face of their Spring/Summer 2020 menswear campaign.
The Blonde artist appears alongside director Nicolas Winding Refn and actor Austin Butler sporting different looks from the brand's Optimist Rhythm collection. Ocean's black-and-white photo turns Prada into an acronym, with his definition being "Programming Rhythms and Dancing Again."
In addition to showing up to Prada's menswear Spring 2020 show in Shanghai, Ocean wore a Prada jacket to the 2019 Met Gala and even donned pieces as part of his look for W Magazine.
"Each of these men uses words to define themselves: the lyrics of a song, the words of a script. They are a blueprint, a template, for life, for living, for feeling," Prada shared in a statement. "Here, words are used as a means to redefine the image, to attempt to define the indefinable."
