The group also performed their hit “Mood” while visiting BBC Radio.
When Canadian duo DVSN stopped by BBC 1Xtra in the middle their European tour, the duo delivered a flawless rendition their single “Mood,” but also chose to pay homage to late R&B stars Aaliyah and Prince. Starting out with the songstress' classic libidinous jam “One In a Million,” the duo's singer Daniel Daley’s put a twist on the track with a surprise — and flawless — integration Prince's “Purple Rain,” which allowed his falsetto to fully shine.
DVSN (Daley and producer Nineteen85) has been a talent to watch since their quiet emergence on OVO Sound Radio back in 2015, with both their debut album Sept. 5 and sophomore effort Morning After (released in October) receiving critical acclaim. The OVO signees will resume their world tour tomorrow (March 21) in Paris, France.
