In 2018, Drake brought back Michael Jackson‘s voice for his Scorpion standout “Don’t Matter to Me.” In 2020, the 6 God repurposed the instructions for mastering the King of Pop’s iconic moonwalk dance for his No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit “Toosie Slide.”

And it isn’t just Drake and MJ who put their “right foot up, left foot slide/ left foot up, right foot slide”: Quite a few artists joined in on the viral dance challenge to keep busy during quarantine.

Slide through the best celebrity “Toosie Slide” videos, from Justin Bieber to BTS‘ J-Hope, below.

Justin Bieber

Bieber recruited his wife Hailey, stepsister Allie Rebelo, sister Jazmyn Bieber and baby sister Bay — whom he cradled during the dance challenge — to tap into the fellow Canadian pop star’s “Toosie Slide.” The Changes singer moonwalked out of frame at the end of the clip, which Drake himself renamed the “Drewsie Slide” in the comments as a nod to Bieber’s apparel line.

J-Hope

The BTS member showed off his superb moves for the ARMY in an hourlong livestream dance party, mixing old-school and new-age hip-hop from The Notorious B.I.G.‘s 1997 No. 1 hit “Hypnotize” to Drake’s latest single.

Diddy… and Drake

Diddy also enlisted his whole family — sons Quincy Brown, King and Justin Combs and daughters D’Lila, Jessie and Chance Combs — to take on the challenge for the 50-year-old rap mogul’s Team Love Dance-A-Thon. But he tapped another special team member: the man behind “Toosie Slide.” After inducting him into his top five all-time favorite rappers list, Diddy got to work with Drizzy and his kids.

Ciara and Russell Wilson

Even when she’s pregnant, Ciara won’t shy away from a dance challenge — and neither will her husband Russell Wilson. He proudly let Ciara shine in the spotlight as she busted out her best Jackson-esque moves, claiming, “Ur boy stayed in the pocket #QuarantineLife.” Ciara’s son Future joined the fully covered couple at the end.

Toosie, Ayo & Teo and Hiii Key

The song’s namesake and popular Instagram dancer Toosie, “Rolex” rappers Ayo & Teo and dancer/producer Hiii Key uploaded the original take of the hot quaran-routine. In its first iteration, the foursome party at home under festive multicolored lights while physically repeating Drake’s explanatory hook with finesse.

Chris Brown’s daughter Royalty

Royalty very much takes after her father Chris Brown, as the 5-year-old dance sensation sang “Toosie Slide” a cappella while demonstrating its steps flawlessly. Brown captioned the adorable video “SHEs SO DOPE” while also tagging his “No Guidance” collaborator, who eventually shared it on his Instagram story.

DaniLeigh

DaniLeigh scores extra points for throwing it back to the “In My Feelings” dance craze she helped kick-start in the summer of 2018. Now in the spring of 2020, the 25-year-old rapper returned with her memorable stunt of hopping out of a moving car. Unlike anyone else, she effortlessly moonwalked on the road in tandem with the car’s slow motion.

Tyga

Tyga has been all over TikTok lately to stay busy during quarantine, so naturally, he lent his smooth moves to the dance challenge, wowing Tinashe with her “Okkkkkkk” comment.

Masaka Kids Africana

They might not be “celebrities,” but these Ugandan kids deserve an honorable mention for their heart-warming footwork. Drake also co-signed the adorable clip by sharing it on his Instagram story.
