This year, 4/20 will be one to remember as Dr. Dre’s debut rap classic The Chronic will be available across all DSPs on April 20.

Released in 1992 on Death Row Records, The Chronic is heralded as Dr. Dre’s magnum opus, as it stitched together the fabric for West Coast rap in the early ’90s. Powered by singles such as “Nothin’ But a G Thang,” “Let Me Ride” and “F–k With Dre Day (And Everybody’s Celebratin’),’ the 16-track collection will undoubtedly comfort marijuana and music aficionados on April 20.

The album also introduced the world to the likes of  Snoop Dogg, Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, Nate Dogg, Warren G, Lady of Rage, D.O.C, RBX, and others.

“Fans now have another reason to celebrate on what has become a national holiday, celebrating all things cannabis-related – where legally allowed and in moderation of course,” says eOne’s global president music & live Chris Taylor. “Working with the Death Row catalogue is like working with the legendary recordings of Elvis, Chuck Berry, and the Beatles. These historic artifacts should be heard by all music lovers and we are so happy Dr. Dre has opened this door so everyone can experience the brilliance of this seminal work.”
