We all have to keep busy during the COVID-19 lockdown and Doja Cat and The Weeknd appear to be biding their time by working on a special quarantine remix. On Tuesday (May 19), Doja put up a cheeky Twitter poll with The Weeknd listed as one of the possible collaborators on phony songs with titles including “Stuart Little,” “Gumby” and “Pi–y T–s.”
“Which one of these artists have I collaborated with and will be releasing the song to very soon?” she asked. A short time later she tweeted simply, “in your eyes,” as well as changing her Twitter handle to the name of the song from Weeknd’s recent After Hours album. The Weeknd got in on the action too, retweeting Doja and then doubling down with a pair of hearts and a saxophone emoji.
Spokespeople for both artists had not returned request for comment at press time.
